Cedrick Walker was a young African American man who was found hanged in Parchman, Mississippi in Sunflower County on July 20, 1993. He was soon to be released in less than a year, and had written a letter to his mother fearing for his life and safety. Shortly thereafter, his murder occured. African Americans continued to be "found hanged" in jail cells just as many Black South Africans were "found hanged" in jail cells. Please contact Sunflower District Attorney William Michael Mallette and demand justice for Unsolved Civil Rights Murders and justice for Cedrick Walker les' we forget.
