The troubling death of Keith Warren on July 31, 1986 is one that will continue to haunt the town of Silver Springs, Maryland. His body was found hung with the feet touching the ground and the tree which held it was quickly destroyed by police. One of the paramedics wrote an affidavit of support of murder because of the bruises he saw on the body which did not support suicide. His body was quickly rushed to a funeral home for embalming without his mother's knowledge. His mother has since died fighting for justice for her son Keith, but Keith's sister Sherri continues to fight for justice for him.

SPC Morganne McBeth had reported Nicholas Bailey of Pflugerville, Texas for attempted rape and that she was frightened of him. Weeks later she was found nude and dying from stab wounds after she fought his planned attack with his comrade Tyler Cain. She later died of her injuries on July 2, 2010. Bailey's murder charge was reduced to involuntary manslaughter, and the trial has been repeatedly delayed. Cain was sentenced to 45 days in jail and demoted to private ranking.

Brushaun Anderson, January 1, 2010

Brushuan Anderson took his life after repeated hazing and bullying by Phillip DeVos, Charles Bruckner, William Fisher, and Stephen Amaral. A higher ranking investigating colonel and a commander both recommended General Memorandum of Reprimand for all four, but Heyward Hutson defended them. (Hutson himself was rejected initially from West Point Military Academy and had to go to it's prep school to be eligible for admission. Of all people he should have been forgiving and understanding of Anderson's challenges. Anderson himself had received good reviews before being transferred to this unit. Lavena Johnson, July 19, 2005

The Department of Defense released a statement saying that 19-year-old Lavena Johnson committed suicide in her tent, but the injuries on her body and the trail of blood leading to a Haliburton employee's tent tell a different story. On July 19, 2005 Johnson was found dead by gunshot. Her father saw her body at the funeral home and saw injuries that did not support that. An autopsy done revealed that Johnson had suffered a broken nose, black eye, loose teeth, chemical burns on her genitals said to hide evidence of a rape, and a gunshot wound that could not have been done by herself. Mayor Mashe of Ventersdoorp

In the summer of 2000, newly elected Mayor Mache of Ventersdorp, South Africa terminated the security contract of the Neo-Nazi South African group AWB. Shortly, thereafter he disappeared and his body was later found brutally tortured and burned. His cousin was hastily accused and wrongfully convicted of the murder when everyone knew it was Terre Eugene Blanche who played a role in it. {Blanche later found himself on the receiving end of justice when he was hacked to death on April 3, 2010.)

After being notified on that his 21-year-old daughter Rachel A. Jackson was dead, Rudolph Williamson rushed to the Del Valle Jail where her body lay. He was not allowed to bring a camera but a family member snuck one in and took photos that showed that Jackson had an unnatural death and foul play had taken place on the night of July 21, 2008. Nathaniel Sanders, May 11, 2009

18-year-old Nathaniel Sanders II, who was sleeping in a car, was shot and killed by police officer Leonardo Quintana at the Walnut Creek Apartments on May 11, 2009 in Austin, Texas. (Quintana was later fired for a DWI arrest and for assaulting his ex-girlfriend.) A City of Austin Attorney Elizabeth Cary Clerico Grace tried to suppress the evidence, but a person leaked an independent investigation showing that Officer Quintana was wrong. The family has since reached a settlement with the city. (See:

Imran Mtui, January 31, 2010

Imran Mtui's headless body was found in Bangladore, India. There have been several unsolved murders of Black students in India...and this is the news that just happened to get released. The Indian police are claiming he was killed by a train and it was an accident, but they didn't do a thorough investigation nor determine the train that supposedly hit him. His family believes he was murdered.

Jerry Lee Armstrong went missing on December 23, 1977 under mysterious circumstances after leaving his Hernando High School prom in his brothers white 1973 Pontiac LeMans in DeSoto County, Mississippi. Authorities believe his disappearance is connected to a Hate crime.

On July 24, 2009, a police officer shot John Deng to death in Iowa City, Iowa after mistakening him for a homeless veteran. Quickly he was reported as being a violent homeless man who was belligerent, but the truth was he was a college student conducting social research on the homeless when he was badgered by a drunk janitor named John Bohnenkamp. Bohnenkamp crossed the street to harass Deng who had dropped some cans. A fight ensued in which Deng was shot dead by a passing officer.

Please contact Johnson County Attorney Janet Lyness and demand justice for John Deng les we forget. Please ask her the following: Is it procedures for the police not to arrest all involved? Why wasn't Bohnenkamp charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication? Was it police procedures not to test the blood alcohol of all involved? What did the nearby cameras show? Why didn't the police request the nearby cameras including the one from the bar which Bohnenkamp left? Why didn't the police request the blood alcohol test from the hospital of Bohnenkamp?

Andre Jones, August 22, 1992

Andre Jones was an 18-year-old excited about entering his freshman year at college when he was wrongfully arrested on August 22, 1992 by Jackson Police, transferred to the Simpson County Jail and found hanged after his arrival. The Simpson County Jail officials ruled it a suicide, but the family was able to afford an independent autopsy by an expert which isn't cheap, Doctor James Bryant, who rule it a homicide. Doctor Emily Ward, the State Coroner, declared a suicide, but a Mississippi Medical Board revokation of her license is in the works. There's a possibility there may be conflicts of interest and unethical decisions that Doctor Ward made to quickly rule Jones' homicide as a suicide to protect the reputations of certain officials. In the meantime, you can contact Jackson County District Attorney Anthony N. Lawrence, III (Tony) and ask for justice for Unsolved Civil Rights Murders and justice for Andre Jones.

Cedrick Walker, July 20, 1993

Cedrick Walker was a young African American man who was found hanged in Parchman, Mississippi in Sunflower County on July 20, 1993. He was soon to be released in less than a year, and had written a letter to his mother fearing for his life and safety. Shortly thereafter, his murder occured. African Americans continued to be "found hanged" in jail cells just as many Black South Africans were "found hanged" in jail cells. Cleve McDowell Murder, March 17, 1997

Attorney Cleve McDowell was murdered on March 17, 1997. To this day, justice has not been served. For years, McDowell had collected various evidence, witness testimonies, articles, and notes on unsolved Civil Rights Murders...shortly after his murder there was a mysterious fire where all these valuable items were lost. Sunflower District Attorney Hailey Gail Bridges hastily prosecuted Juarez Webb to quickly shut the case when there was disputed evidence that raised serious questions about who murdered McDowell. District Attorney Bridges was also given the task of prosecuting Unsolved Civil Rights Murders, which she failed to do. As of December 5, 2008, she is no longer the D. A., but you can contact current Sunflower District Attorney William Michael Mallette, and tell him that you want justice now for the Unsolved Civil Rights Murders and justice for Cleve McDowell les' we forget.
